Upper Gaer, Cwmdu, Crickhowell, PowysListed building renovation

The property is a listed building that had suffered a collapse of the left-hand stone gable wall and chimney stack onto the ‘lean to’ below.

The team put up top hat scaffold over the affected areas to protect the existing property from the elements, then proceeded to remove the loose stone to the gable, and cleared all internally affected rooms of the debris.

Re-instatement works included numerous structural props and installation of insulated stud ply partitions internally so that the policyholder could remain living at the property throughout the duration of the works.
